England Golf and the award of New Handicap Index

I have received conformation from England Golf that any new member or member wanting to secure an Initial Handicap Index must complete a minimum of 54-holes from either 9-holes or 18-holes.

"Players can now submit scores for handicap allocation from any measured course. They don't have to played at the club which they are a member. As long as the score is verified and return in the correct manner, it is acceptable."
