England Golf Central Database for Handicaps (CDH)

Players at The Tytherington Golf Club have their handicaps managed by an Independent Software Vendor (ISV), namely Intelligent Golf (IG)

England Golf, Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) maintain all this handicap information when supplied by these Software vendors

A requirement for the New World Handicapping system is to "cleanse all data" to ensure correct entries. Earlier this year, whilst the handicaps on the Intelligent Golf Handicap pages were correct; unbeknown to many of our players, the status of 80 handicaps held at England Golf Central Database were "unknown" which is shown as 0 (zero)

Intelligent Golf have now rectified their problem

Following this situation, we recommend that you:

Subscribe to England Golf Central Database for Handicaps (it is free of charge)

If you follow the link https://www.englandgolf.org/article/central-database-of-handicaps/

Once in the site go down to the bottom of the page register for free

You will see your exact handicap (it should therefore be the same as the Tytherington site)

You will be able to download the CDH Card, this number will be invaluable to you, particularly when you enter an external event (especially when the new World Handicapping System is introduced)

Once on the CDH site you will be able to see other benefits
