Swim School

The Swim School provides lessons for all ages, following the Swim England Teaching Plan, from babies 6 months old to great grandparents. Learn in the comfort of your own club in a safe, warm and clean environment. Our excellent teaching staff are all qualified and experienced in instructing and encouraging all levels of swimming abilities. The earlier someone is introduced into the water the better, as it enhances confidence, trust, balance and co-ordination.

Swimming allows participants to work their muscles and natural reflexes and therefore create a stronger, more co-ordinated body.

Personal Profile:
Here at the Tytherington Club I work as a Swimming Co-ordinator and Instructor. I have 8 years of experience of teaching all age groups and abilities, including group, private and training sessions. My aim as an instructor is not only to teach a life skill, but also to encourage everyone to enjoy the water as much as I do. I love helping others to overcome a fear or challenge, no matter how big it may seem. As the swim co-ordinator I try to ensure that all lessons run smoothly, allowing all children within the swim school to enjoy and progress in their lessons.
